Destiny 2 shortcut downloading new files

I'm downloading Destiny 2 on PS4, it's been 24 hours and counting. As stated in the title, I am downloading Destiny 2 through PS4, I've downloaded GB out of GB and the ETA for completing download keeps going up. Hi all, Does anybody know if it's possible to copy the Preloaded/downloaded Destiny 2 files from the "steamapps\depotcache" folder onto a hard-drive Press J to jump to the feed. My roommates and I all stream and download a lot, so we have to avoid downloading every unnecessary GB possible, and Destiny 2 is close to 40GB. Maybe I should just be the guinea pig, but does anyone know if I can download Destiny 2 on my laptop remotely and then transfer the files to my PC, or is that going to end up being a waste of time?.
